Join us for the 44th Annual Breslow Distinguished Lecture, featuring special guest speaker Dr. David Carlisle. Dr. Carlisle will discuss a current social justice issue and its implications. Following the lecture will be the FSPH Student Public Health Challenge.

FSPH Student Public Health Challenge
The Student Public Health Challenge showcases and awards the most compelling advocacy speeches presented by FSPH students. The competition not only helps foster the important career development skills of public speaking and presentation, but also highlights the importance and relevance of public health issues today.

Students will present on the following topic:

Public approaches to ensuring everyone in the United States has access to health care, to a healthy environment, and to social policies that shape health are all being debated and many are undergoing significant changes.  What role can and should public health leaders play in shaping these policies?
