The Bixby Center is pleased to host the Dr. Adriana Baban, PhD, Professor of Health Psychology & Behavioral Medicine at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Dr. Baban’s research focuses on addressing women’s reproductive health, vaccine hesitancy, adverse experiences and how abuse and trauma is related to risk factors for health. She was previously a regular Visiting Professor with the Department of Community Health Sciences at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and has published more than 160 papers, books, chapters in international and national journals and has been director and researcher for more than 20 international and national research grants on the health topics. This lecture will provide an overview of a series of studies that explore the reasons for HPV vaccination hesitancy and refusal in Romania. Please join the Bixby Center for this talk on Tuesday, April 16th from 12-1pm in the Dean’s Round Conference Room 16-032 FSPH. Lunch will be provided and no RSVP is required
