In its first year, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has increased access to preventive health care services, raised to 26 the age young adults can stay on their parents health insurance plans, and prohibited insurance companies from denying coverage to children because of preexisting conditions.

Dr. Kominski, one of the nation's leading experts in health policy, will discuss efforts currently underway to implement other aspects of the bill, including creation of premium rate review and state insurance exchanges and look at political efforts to delay implementation of health reform.

Continuing the Conversation webinars feature UCLA Fielding School of Public Health faculty discussing the most critical issues in public health.
