Professor, Department of Health Policy & Management
Associate Director, UCLA Center for Health Policy Research

Dr. Kominski, one of the nation's leading experts in health policy, discussed the impact of The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly called Health Care Reform) on health delivery and financing. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, enacted by Congress this past March, is the most sweeping health care legislation since the enactment of Medicare in 1965. It is expected to extend health insurance to 32 million uninsured Americans in 2014, and stimulate further changes in health care delivery and financing.

Continuing the Conversation webinars feature UCLA Fielding School of Public Health faculty discussing the most critical issues in public health.
