Health care delivery organizations are faced with unprecedented demands to improve the quality of care patients receive and engage patients in their own care. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and the Affordable Care Act provide organizations with considerable financial incentives to innovate healthcare delivery.

Dr. Rodriguez will review important priorities for delivery systems research and describe three organizational/contextual factors being examined in an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) ARRA-funded research project currently underway in California community clinics and health centers.

Continuing the Conversation webinars feature UCLA Fielding School of Public Health faculty discussing the most critical issues in public health.
