Launching the 25th anniversary of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, the E. Richard Brown Symposium will be held on March 1-2, 2019. Dr. Brown, founder of the Center, spent his life advocating strongly for a care-for-all system that would ensure health services for every Californian. Honoring that spirit, the symposium topic is universal health care in California, engaging experts, lawmakers and academics in a review of possible system designs, policy proposals and important areas of research to inform a robust discussion on the future of health coverage that benefits everyone in the state.

This event on March 1st will feature international experts in universal care models.
