Dr. Lorenzo Rocco, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Padova, will present his lecture: “Social Capital and Health: An Economic Perspective."
Dr. Rocco's fields of research include the socio-economic determinants of health, the influence of health on the labor market outcomes, and several aspects of the economics of education. Dr. Rocco is an empirical economist and his research has been published in a variety of top economics journals. He has also contributed to several reports commissioned by the World Bank, World Health Organization, OECD and The European Commission. Since 2016 he has served as coordinator of the Global Network on Social Capital and Health, established in 2006. Please RSVP. A light lunch will be provided.
