UCLA will host Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week (GPSAW) during spring quarter week two, April 5-9. GPSAW is celebrated nationally and is a week-long opportunity for the UCLA campus to recognize the important contributions of graduate and professional students. Celebrated nationally, GPSAW first began in 1993 and was developed by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students. The Graduate Student Resource Center is coordinating with campus partners to host a variety of campus-wide virtual events, social media engagement and a gratitude campaign as well.
This workshop will focus on sexual assault, sexual harassment, the body's response to trauma, and supporting survivors as a peer. There will be an emphasis and breakdown on what it means to be a Responsible Employee, the differences between CARE and Title IX resources, and how to safely refer fellow peers and students to campus and community resources while in crisis.
