#WhatIf We Create A World Without Gun Violence: Discussion and Action in the Wake of Parkland, is a panel discussion that will bring together our school community to talk about policies and practices that are currently in place to prevent or respond to violence in schools, such as school shootings.

We’ll talk about what types of policies and practices may help prevent these types of tragedies from happening in the future. At the end of the workshop, there will be action steps to address gun control and violence prevention as public health professionals.

This event is part of the FSPH Response + Action Project, in collaboration with the Diversity Committee, the Student Affairs Office, the Office of the Associate Dean of Public Health Practice, and SAIV.

The FSPH Response + Action Project addresses pressing social and health issues and provides opportunities to create change. Response + Action is a project of the Public Health Training Program on Population Health Advocacy and the Department of Community Health Sciences.

This program is made possible with the generous support of Jerry and Lorraine Factor
