Paul Dluzniewski

Paul Dluzniewski is currently a Director in the Center for Observational Research at Amgen. As product area lead for the cardiovascular-metabolic group, his work is focused on therapies used to treat patients at elevated risk of cardiovascular disease. He leads evidence generation efforts by conducting epidemiologic research to inform the benefit-risk profile of Amgen’s therapies and highlight the clinical value of both marketed and pipeline products.

Pouran D. Faghri

Pouran Faghri

Professor Faghri joined UCLA Department of Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut, where she was a Professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences and Director of the Center for Environmental Health and Health Promotion. She had joint appointments as professor of Biomedical Engineering, School of Engineering, and professor of Public Health,  School of Medicine.

Michael Ong

Michael Ong, MD PhD, is a Professor in Residence of Medicine & Health Policy and Management at UCLA. He is Chief of the Hospitalist Division at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Dr. Ong is a practicing general internist. His research interests focus on improving the delivery of appropriate and efficient health care by general internal medicine physicians. His research has applied this focus in several areas of general medicine, including hospital-based care, mental health, and tobacco control. Dr.

Jian Li

Dr. Li joined UCLA in 2019. He shares a position between the Fielding School of Public Health, Environmental Health Sciences Department and the School of Nursing. Before his appointment at UCLA, Dr. Li had been working in China and Germany with extensive experience on occupational health. He is an active member of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) Scientific Committees on Cardiology in Occupational Health, and on Work Organisation and Psychosocial Factors. Liwei Chen

Dr. Liwei Chen is an Associate Professor (tenured) in the Department of Epidemiology at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.  Dr. Chen’s research mainly focusses on identifying effective lifestyle approaches to prevent/management obesity, diabetes, hypertension and other cardiometabolic diseases.  She is also interested in maternal and child health and the life-course approach of chronic disease epidemiology.  Dr.
