Sung-Jae Lee

Sung-Jae Lee, PhD, is an Associate Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, with a joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He is the Director of the Recruitment Engagement and Retention Center (RERC) for the Adolescent Medicine Trials Network (ATN) U19. His current ongoing research focuses on designing interventions for vulnerable HIV-affected communities. Dr.

Linda Delp

Dr. Linda Delp is the Director of UCLA-LOSH, the Labor Occupational Safety and Health Program and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Dept. of Community Health Sciences. Founded in 1978, LOSH is a nationally recognized center promoting safe jobs and worker health through teaching and education, research, and policy advocacy.She has MPH and PhD degrees from the UCLA School of Public Health where she researched job stressors and satisfaction among home care workers and initiated a California Home Care Research Working Group.

Jeanne Miranda

Jeanne Miranda, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA.  She is a mental health services researcher who has focused her work on providing mental health care to low-income and minority communities. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Kansas and completed post-doctoral training at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Miranda's major research contributions have been in evaluating the impact of mental health care for ethnic minority communities..

Carol Mangione

Carol M. Mangione, M.D., M.S.P.H., F.A.C.P. is the Division Chief of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research and Professor of Medicine. She holds the Barbara A. Levey, MD, and Gerald S. Levey, MD, endowed chair in medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and is professor of public health at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

Roshan Bastani

Roshan Bastani, Ph.D., is a professor in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and Director of the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and the UCLA Center for Prevention Research. In the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, she is Director for Disparities and Community Engagement and Associate Director for Cancer Prevention and Control. Her leadership roles also include an 11-year term as Associate Dean for Research in the School of Public Health.

Vickie Mays

Vickie Mays is a Professor in the Department of Psychology in the College of Letters and Sciences, as well as a Professor in the Department of Health Services. Professor Mays is also the Director of the UCLA Center on Research, Education, Training and Strategic Communication on Minority Health Disparities (www.MinorityHealthDisparities.org).

Onyebuchi A. Arah

Dr. Arah is a Professor at the Department of Epidemiology, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He is the Chair of the Epidemiology Doctoral Qualifying Examination Committee. He has also served as the Chair of the International Health Committee, Director of the Center for Global and Immigrant Health, and the founding Associate Dean for Global Health at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
