Natalie Muth

Natalie Digate Muth, MD, MPH, RDN, FAAP is on the adjunct faculty of UCLA Field School of Public Health/Community Health Sciences. She is a dual board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine physician and registered dietitian. She practices general pediatrics and obesity medicine and serves as the Senior Advisor for Healthcare Solutions for the American Council on Exercise. She also is a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Arlene Fink

I am a health services researcher with an abiding interest in the health and well-being of vulnerable populations.  I am especially concerned with improving preventive medicine practice and the quality of health care for older adults.

William J. McCarthy

Dr. McCarthy has devoted most of his 30-year career to intervention studies designed to encourage members of special populations to adhere to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans (African American adult women, low-income middle school students, low-income patients of community health centers) and to be smokefree (WIC participants, aerospace workers, Korean and South Asian immigrants, residents of homeless shelters).

Jonathan Fielding

Jonathan Fielding

Jonathan Fielding is a Professor of Health Policy and Management, and Pediatrics. Dr. Fielding teaches the Determinants of Health course and participates as faculty lecturer in several other Department courses.

Cathy Lang

Cathy Lang, Ph.D., is the Assistant Director for Research Administration for the Office of the Associate Dean for Research, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Community Health Sciences Department, and Assistant Director of the Southwest Regional Public Health Training Center at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Dr. Lang holds a doctorate in public health, with an emphasis in health education and promotion and health communications.
