Yusuke Tsugawa

Yusuke Tsugawa, MD, MPH, PhD is assistant professor of health policy and management, as well as assistant professor of medicine at UCLA. Prior to joining the faculty at UCLA, he was a health specialist at the World Bank group and a research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Tsugawa received his PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University with a concentration in statistics, and his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health.

Gerald Kominski

Gerald Kominski is a Professor of Health Policy and Management and Senior Fellow at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. His research focuses on evaluating the costs and financing of public insurance programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation. Since 2010, his research has focused on evaluating the expected and actual impacts of health care reform under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Onyebuchi A. Arah

Dr. Arah is a Professor at the Department of Epidemiology, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He is the Chair of the Epidemiology Doctoral Qualifying Examination Committee. He has also served as the Chair of the International Health Committee, Director of the Center for Global and Immigrant Health, and the founding Associate Dean for Global Health at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
