Joann G. Elmore

Dr. Joann G. Elmore is a professor of health policy and management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and of medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She also serves as Director of the UCLA National Clinician Scholars Program. She is a national leader in academic general internal medicine and has a distinguished career as an investigator, mentor, administrator and educator. 

Yusuke Tsugawa

Yusuke Tsugawa, MD, MPH, PhD is associate professor of health policy and management, as well as assistant professor of medicine at UCLA. Prior to joining the faculty at UCLA, he was a health specialist at the World Bank group and a research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Tsugawa received his PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University with a concentration in statistics, and his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health.

Brennan Spiegel

Brennan Spiegel, MD, MSHS, is director of Health Services Research for Cedars-Sinai and Professor of Medicine and Public Health at UCLA. He directs the Cedars-Sinai Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CS-CORE), a multidisciplinary team that investigates how digital health technologies; including wearable biosensors, smartphone applications, virtual reality (VR) and social media; can strengthen the patient-doctor bond, improve outcomes and save money.

Arlene Fink

I am a health services researcher with an abiding interest in the health and well-being of vulnerable populations.  I am especially concerned with improving preventive medicine practice and the quality of health care for older adults.
