The Ruth Roemer Lecture Series honors Ruth Roemer, JD, who for over five decades used the law to protect and promote health and was a champion of health equity and social justice. The series aims to connect public health professionals and community stakeholders with the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, by providing a dynamic educational forum for the public health community and the community at large.
