Fielding School associate professor of Epidemiology Dr. Anne Rimoin presented the prestigious UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute seminar on 12/10. An expert on infectious disease, Dr. Rimoin's main focus is on the design and implementation of disease surveillance systems in remote rural areas to detect novel pathogens of animal origin that are crossing species into human populations. The lecture was co-sponsored by UCLA CTSI and the Eli & Edythe Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research.
