Illness More Prevalent Among Older Gay Adults

Steven Wallace, professor of community health sciences and associate director of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research in the School of Public Health, was featured in an April 1st New York Times article about how aging lesbian, gay and bisexual Californians are more likely than their heterosexual counterparts to suffer from chronic health conditions and to live alone. He was also quoted April 6th in Social Work Today and the Ventura County Star. A March 31st Associated Press story also covered the research.
