RESOURCES & REMINDERS

  • APHA 2021 will take place in Mountain Time (MT). View the schedule in your time zone by selecting that option on the bottom of the navigation pane, linked here:
  • On-demand content will be available on Monday, Oct. 18. All events will be virtual (except a few events on Saturday, Oct. 23).
  • The official first day of APHA 2021 is on Sunday, Oct. 24 and begins with the Opening General Session.

EXPLORE THE PLATFORM AND BUILD YOUR SCHEDULE

Since the meeting is split between an in-person and virtual format. Explore the program and schedule (linked here) to find the sessions and events you want to attend. Remember, you must be logged in to the APHA platform to access the scheduling function. When building your schedule, look for icons that describe how the session, event, or presentation will be delivered.

Here's a breakdown:

  • In-person/in Denver — Takes place in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center only.
  • Virtual/Online — Takes place online only.
  • Livestreamed — Takes place in live Denver and will be streamed to the virtual audience at the same time.
  • On-demand — Pre-recorded sessions available beginning Oct. 18.
  • Recorded — Recordings of live sessions from Denver and online. Sessions are recorded as they happen and are available after the meeting.

REGISTRATION

APHA's 2021 Annual Meeting and Expo will take place Oct. 24-27 and begin with the Opening General Session on Sunday. The 2021 theme is "Creating the Healthiest Nation: Strengthening Social Connectedness." Activities like business meetings and poster sessions will be virtual and start on Oct. 18. In-person attendees will participate at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Virtual attendees will participate online from anywhere globally.
