The Open News (Jan. 3) featured new research from the WORLD Policy Analysis Center at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health that reports that few countries offer free early childhood education. 


Dana Hunnes, an adjunct assistant professor of community health sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and a senior dietitian at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, was quoted in a Well + Good (Dec. 27) article about genetically modified foods.


Mother Jones (Jan./Feb.), in a story about care for children with medical complexity, cited findings from the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research about pediatric palliative care.

MyNewsLA (Jan. 2) noted that Catherine Crespi, professor-in-residence of biostatistics at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, has been appointed to California's Carcinogen Identification Committee.
