Videos: Student Stories

From Zambia to Myanmar and all the way back to our hometown of Los Angeles, Fielding School students share their journeys to improve public health in first-person videos.

2017 FSPH STUDENT DIGITAL STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

Would you like to share your public health story? Are you interested in improving your storytelling skills?

Over the course of three days at the Fielding School (Sept. 25 – Sept. 27, 2017), selected FSPH students will produce a first-person video about their experience in public health and gain critical expertise about how to tell a compelling story about their work. The workshop is hands-on and held in collaboration with StoryCenter to ensure that students have the tools they need to produce their videos.

Applications are due by Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Selected students will be notified by June 2, 2017. Stories produced by students in past workshops can be viewed HERE. If you have any questions, please contact Carla Denly, Assistant Dean for Communications.
