Allison Kamerman

Allison has been with UCLA Fielding for 20 years. In her current role as Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, she manages the School's financial, human and physical resources; establishes internal administrative and financial policies and procedures; and plans and organizes for its future. Allison served as MSO for the Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) for over ten years, increasing financial stability and operational efficiency, and facilitating a service-oriented environment. During her tenure with HPM, Allison also served as interim manager of our school’s departments of Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, and Epidemiology. Previously, Allison spent seven years as assistant director of FSPH’s Center for Public Health and Disasters, where she managed all pre- and post-award administration, collaborated with state and local agencies to increase their public health preparedness, and worked with colleagues to secure funding for training the public health workforce.
