Amy Wohl

Dr. Amy Wohl is an Epidemiologist who worked for the Los Angeles County (LAC) Department of Public Health (DPH) and the LAC Department of Health Services (DHS) for almost 30 years. She oversaw the Program Evaluation Unit in the LACDHS Office of Planning and Data Analytics where she conducted research and evaluation on health outcomes and service utilization for high-need Medi-Cal clients and DHS patients. She was formerly Chief of Research and Innovation in the LACDPH Division of HIV and STD programs where she was Principal Investigator for over 15 federal and state projects to examine HIV and STD epidemiologic trends, prevention effectiveness and HIV linkage and retention programs. Dr. Wohl currently provides epidemiologic and program evaluation consultation services to public and private health organizations and serves on various public and private boards. Dr. Wohl has authored or co-authored over 50 publications.
