Cameron Brandt de Flores
Cameron Brandt Flores, MPH, MA is a Public Health Specialist supporting the California Pathways into Public Health Fellowship Program and the CDC Lewis UCLA Public Health Scholars Training Program. She has worked for UCLA Fielding School of Public Health (FSPH) for over three years in a number of roles including as a facilitator for the Virtual Training Academy (VTA+) where she helped to train California’s COVID-19 response workforce of contact tracers and case investigators. In early 2021, she began working as a coordinator for the Pathways Program, where she still works to manage and coordinate the intensive and ongoing trainings delivered to program participants.
Cameron is passionate about public health workforce development and enjoys working with early-career professionals, empowering them to recognize and refine their skills to pursue meaningful careers in the field. Before joining UCLA FSPH, Cameron completed her Master of Public Health in Community Health Sciences and Master of Arts in Latin American Studies at UCLA where she also served as a graduate student Teaching Associate in several International Development and Public Health courses.
