Celeste Peralta

Celeste Maglan Peralta is the communications assistant at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research (CHPR). Peralta edits and uploads content to the UCLA CHPR website. She also maintains the style standard across the center’s website, publications, infographics, and weekly e-newsletter. She also handles administrative duties for the department, maintains vendor relations, and manages special projects. Peralta participated in the UCLA Staff Enrichment Program, a prestigious career development program in which only 30 participants campus-wide are accepted each year. Prior to joining the Center, Peralta worked at EarthLink, the Hollywood Stock Exchange, and The Santa Barbara Independent. Her broad editorial experience includes writing and editing for print and online media. Peralta graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in communications. She is a founding member of Sigma Kappa Chi sorority.
