Diana Balderas
Diana Balderas is a program coordinator at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research under the Fielding School of Public Health and Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. In her role, she assists in many projects with her work ranging from data collection and entering, document translation to administrative tasks.
Diana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiological Sciences from UCLA in 2021. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, she became aware of the vast health disparities that affect minority communities early on, and she knew she wanted to help bridge the gap in some way. During her undergraduate career, she became interested in public health and began her work in health equity research shortly after graduating.
