Hannah Malan
Dr. Malan currently serves as Program Manager for two public health training and workforce development programs at FSPH: the California Pathways into Public Health Fellowship Program and the CDC Lewis UCLA Public Health Scholars Training Program. In this role, she oversees program administration, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. From 2020-2023 during the COVID-19 pandemic, she supported the VTA+ Partnership for Public Health Workforce Development.
Dr. Malan is also a lecturer in the Community Health Sciences Department where she teaches program planning and evaluation for the MPH-HP program. She is an experienced researcher, manager, and educator dedicated to evidence-based, collaborative, and community-engaged approaches for advancing public health, equity, and environmental sustainability.
Dr. Malan earned her PhD and MS in Community Health Sciences from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and Minor in Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
