Areas of Interest

My methodological research focuses on classification, analysis in a spatially and temporally correlated data, and pattern recognition of therapeutic response in medical imaging data. In particular, I has looked at approaches to remove noise in CT images and classifying abnormal pattern in interstitial lung diseases in CT images and applied this method to develop an automated model of classifying and scoring abnormalities in patterns of interstitial lung disease such as fibrotic reticular pattern, groundglass opacity, and honeycomb. In cancer studies, my work involves in identifying a predictive classifier and surrogate outcomes to a therapeutic response, progression-free survival, and overall survival via MRI images.
