Porchia Toussaint

Porchia Toussaint is the Assistant Director for the MPH for Health Professionals program, which allows working professionals to maintain their full-time careers while pursuing a Master of Public Health degree. Porchia earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration in 2005 and a Master’s in Public Health in 2009, both from California State University, Northridge. Prior to joining UCLA, Porchia worked at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in the President’s office. As a first generation college student and working in an under-resourced community, her passion for public health developed. Porchia has worked and volunteered for a number of non-profit organizations in teen health education, women’s reproductive health, HIV/AIDS and youth sports. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering, watching movies and cheering for the Los Angeles Lakers/San Francisco 49ers/New York Mets. Above all, she enjoys family time with her husband Drew and children Justin, Cameron and Peyton.
