Throughout the 2022-23 academic year, UCLA Fielding is celebrating six decades of impact in public health.
Public health is at the center of solutions to pressing societal problems that impact everyone, everywhere. Cancer prevention, Alzheimer’s disease, air pollution, women’s health and reproductive health, access to quality healthcare, gun violence, climate change, workplace safety, HIV and AIDS, the COVID-19 pandemic, and future pandemics — these are all challenges of the past, present, and future, for which UCLA Fielding has been and continues to be at the forefront in training the leaders and developing the evidence-based solutions that save lives.
