20 Years of Art + Activism: World AIDS Day with the UCLA Art & Global Health Center
Art can open a conversation, challenge stigma, and bring people together. This World AIDS Day, we invite you to celebrate 20 years of the UCLA Art & Global Health Center—and help imagine what comes next.
Join us for an evening of activist performances, films, and a panel discussion exploring the role of art in ending HIV stigma and advancing health equity. We’ll share work from across the Center’s history and look ahead to the next chapters of our signature programs, including Through Positive Eyes, UCLA Sex Squad, Up to Us, and Valentine Toya LeGrand.
Together, we’ll honor the people who have made this work possible and connect with artists, students, educators, and community partners carrying it forward.
Whether you’ve been part of our community for years or are joining us for the first time, we hope you’ll be there. Bring a friend, your ideas, and your commitment to a future free of HIV stigma.
