"COVID is here. We have to continue to live with it.": One epidemiologist's warning on COVID-19.
CNN Newsroom interviewed Dr. Anne Rimoin, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health professor of epidemiology and the Gordon-Levin Endowed Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health, about continuing to live with and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its subsequent variants.
“Look, COVID is here with us. We are going to have to continue to live with it.” Rimoin said. “That means adapting to variants like BA.2.86, which might be more capable of causing infection in people who've previously had COVID-19 or received COVID-19 vaccines.”
