Deadly measles outbreak in Texas

"A measles outbreak in a rural area of West Texas, has now grown to nearly 150 cases, the state's largest outbreak in nearly 30 years. This, just days after an unvaccinated child in Lubbock died of the disease, the first measles death in the U.S. since 2015. Dr. Anne Rimoin, professor of epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, said, 'Measles is among the most contagious viruses known to man. It is so contagious, for example, it can hang around in the room after someone has left for up to two hours.'"
