FSPH scholar receives a 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research
On January 10, 2017 UCLA’s postdoctoral scholars were honored for their important contributions to the university’s interrelated missions of research, teaching, and public service at the 2017 Postdoctoral Scholars Reception & Awards Ceremony at UCLA’s California NanoSystems Institute.
Dr. Zeyan Liew, a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, was one of the four winners of the 2017 Chancellor’s Awards for Postdoctoral Research. The award "recognizes individual research accomplishments that show clear potential to have meaningful and enduring implications in their field."
Dr. Liew was one of the four winners among 18 finalists selected from 1,314 postdoctoral scholars across UCLA's campus.
