"Growing concerns about bird flu" | KTLA
Dr. Anne Rimoin -- Gordon-Levin Endowed Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health in the Department of Epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health -- addressed growing concerns surrounding the transmission of H5N1 bird flu with KTLA. The CDC reports that samples collected from a patient in Louisiana showed signs of mutation, as they differ from the samples collected from sick and dead birds believed to have infected the man in the first place.
