Dr. Pamina Gorbach, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health professor in the Department of Epidemiology and in the Division of Infectious Diseases, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, was interviewed by KABC-TV (ABC affiliate in Los Angeles) about the impact of reductions in federal funding for HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
"Keeping people with HIV living in care means they don't have viral load and that means they're not able to transmit HIV," Gorbach said.
