NPR | "A baby bonds bonanza"
Dr. Naomi Zewde, with the UCLA Fielding School Department of Health Policy and Management, was interviewed by NPR about so-called "baby bonds."

Dr. Naomi Zewde, assistant professor in the UCLA Fielding School Department of Health Policy and Management, was interviewed by NPR about her research into the potential impact of so-called "baby bonds."
“Wealth is the kind of thing where when you need to dip into a large sum of money, not necessarily the amount that you have left over at the end of the month, you know, that's income. So just even accessing health care, wealth can really matter for that,” Zewde said. "But it also determines, you know, where you're going to buy a house, and are you going to live near a freeway or near a park? Huge implications for your health.”
