Obesity and the environment: An FSPH Center for Health Policy Research seminar


The FSPH Center for Health Policy Research will present "The Environmental Factors Driving Rising Obesity in California" as part of a lecture series.

The FSPH Center for Health Policy Research will present "The Environmental Factors Driving Rising Obesity in California," a lecture as part of an ongoing series led by health policy experts.

Past seminar topics include applications of the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS), such as data collection for LGBT research and the benefits of studies in young children that span 10 years or longer.

The one-hour lecture is scheduled on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at 10960 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 1550, Los Angeles, CA 90024.

The event is free and open to the public. For those who cannot attend in person, a live-streaming webinar will be available. Webinar guests do not need a UCLA email address to join.
