Dual: About the Degree - MPH in Community Health Sciences/MSW in Social Welfare

    The Department of Social Welfare at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and the Department of Community Health Sciences at UCLA Fielding offer a concurrent program whereby students pursue the Master of Social Welfare and the Master of Public Health at the same time. Applicants are required to satisfy the regular admission requirements of each program. Students must meet requirements for graduation in both programs to be awarded either degree. Applicants interested in the program should contact the department of Social Welfare at UCLA Luskin and the Office of Student Services at UCLA Fielding.


    The MPH in Community Health Sciences prepares students to improve community health through planning, administration, and evaluation of public health programs and policies in the U.S. and abroad.
