Paul S. Viviano, MPA '76
Paul S. Viviano serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). He is a respected healthcare leader and an ardent advocate for child health on regional and national levels. Under his leadership since 2015, CHLA has been recognized as a top-ten children's hospital nationally by U.S. News & World Report and a top-five global hospital by Newsweek magazine. CHLA is home to one of the largest pediatric residency and fellowship training programs in the country, and its care and discoveries set the standard for pediatric healthcare nationwide. Paul obtained his Master of Public Administration from UCLA in 1976.
Paul also holds key positions in regional and national healthcare leadership, serving on the California Children’s Hospital Association (CCHA), the California Hospital Association Board, and as Chair of the Public Policy Committee of the National Children’s Hospital Association.
