Dr. Ralph Brindis, Chief Medical Officer of the American College of Cardiology's National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) and Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Philip Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco, has devoted his professional life to the nexus point between population health and clinical care. Through his leadership in the development of cardiovascular registries, clinical practice guidelines, appropriate use criteria, and data standards used extensively both domestically and internationally, Dr. Brindis has substantially improved cardiovascular clinical outcomes worldwide.
