EDI Committee
The EDI Committee oversees the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health's priorities for the academic year, from development to evaluation. The committee is composed of faculty, staff, and student representatives from FSPH’s five academic departments. It meets monthly and is open to all students, staff, and faculty.

EDI S.T.E.P.S. Program
The UCLA Fielding School EDI office hosts an annual Summer Pre-Matriculation Program, known as S.T.E.P.S., for incoming full-time, first-year public health students. The S.T.E.P.S. Program is designed to usher a Successful Transition for Educational excellence and Professional Satisfaction. It is open to students with diverse backgrounds, including those from under-represented groups (such as BIPOC, first-generation, and minority students). S.T.E.P.S. takes place during the second week of September and includes academic preparedness workshops, professional development programming, and self-care activities helping to prepare incoming students for their academic journey at FSPH.

EDI Fellowship
The FSPH EDI Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to become EDI Fellows and serve as public health community liaisons working to address and support equity, diversity, and inclusion on campus and in their communities through advocacy, empowerment, and education. Select EDI Fellows also receive compensation for their community work.
