A lifelong Bruin, Dr. Elizabeth Yano is the Director of the VA Health Services Research & Development Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation and Policy, and Adjunct Professor of Health Policy & Management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. An epidemiologist by training, Dr. Yano has been PI or Co-PI on over $30 million of research funding, published nearly 200 peer-reviewed papers, and mentored over 60 young investigators. Her work with women veterans is advancing VA’s women’s health research agenda and transforming women veterans’ health care.
