Students, faculty, staff, and alums were out in force for UCLA Fielding’s annual “Fall Welcome,” held Oct. 15 in the UCLA Court of Sciences.
"Everyone here today cares deeply about making our world healthier," said UCLA Fielding Dean Kari Nadeau, who welcomed the crowd. "Thank you again for being fantastic colleagues and, importantly, all of you are going to make a difference today, as well as in the future, and you are going to make our community, as you do already, a very special place to be."
More than 275 registered guests, made up of undergraduate and graduate students, staff, faculty, and alumni, attended the event, with others dropping in over the course of the celebration, organizers said.
UCLA Fielding welcomed almost 500 new undergraduate and graduate students in 2026, increasing the total student population in degree programs to some 1,100, with another 400 in non-degree undergraduate programs.
