Welcome to Global Health at the Fielding School of Public Health!
Here at the school, in addition to our passion for working to improve the health of populations in Los Angeles, California and the United States, we are deeply engaged in research, training and service activities globally. Our approach to global health is multidisciplinary, integrating social, behavioral, cultural, biologic, epidemiologic, economic and political aspects of health. We seek to translate our research to impact that improves the health of populations around the world.

Fielding students are active in working to improve the health of populations around the world by conducting research, training and service activities across the globe. Many of our students travel internationally to conduct fieldwork with partner organizations. These internships serve as valuable preparation for jobs in public health, both locally and internationally.
