UCLA Fielding’s Dr. David Eisenman, professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, was interviewed by ABC News (KABC-TV) at the inaugural LA Fire Health Research Conference about new research into the health impacts of the 2025 Los Angeles County wildfires.
“New diagnoses, that we've never imagined after wildfires, were increasing after the wildfires,” said Eisenman, who added researchers want “to try to give that information back to the community as fast as we can get it so people can take action to improve their health.”
