Now rescinded, Trump-era ‘public charge’ policy may still harm immigrants’ health
Dr. Arturo Vargas Bustamante, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health associate professor of health policy and management, co-authored a report published by the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Initiative that a now-rescinded Trump-era policy may still discourage the parents of more than 100,000 California children from seeking proper pediatric care.
