Dr. Aragón, the California State Public Health Officer, will speak at UCLA Fielding’s ceremony on June 14, 2024

The UCLA Fielding School of Public Health celebrated 279 graduating MPH, MS, and MHA students, and 39 PhD students in a ceremony at Royce Hall.

The UCLA Fielding School of Public Health recognized 12 outstanding students in a ceremony at UCLA attended by family, friends, students, alumni, faculty and staff.

New program will prepare current professionals, recent college graduates for fast-growing field using data analytics to improve health outcomes.

For Dr. Diana Ramos (MPH’ 04), who was appointed California Surgeon General by the state’s governor in September 2022, priorities for the role include addressing mental health, reproductive health, adverse childhood experiences and toxic stress. The UCLA Fielding Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, June 16, at 5:30pm PDT in UCLA's Royce Hall and via live stream.
