Angelo J. Bellomo is a former Deputy Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH). He also served as Director of Environmental Health for DPH, and previously as Director of Environmental Health and Safety for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Mr. Bellomo began his work in environmental health in 1973. In the early 1980’s, he was appointed Chief Enforcement Officer, Toxic Substances Control Division in the California Department of Health Services.
