Get Involved

There are a variety of ways to engage with UCLA and UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.

Attend Events

We host a range of events especially for alumni. We also encourage alumni to attend our regularly scheduled programs including:

  • The Paul Torrens Health Forum
  • The Ruth Roemer Social Justice Symposium
  • The Alumni Hall of Fame
  • The Lester Breslow Distinguished Lecture
  • Networking events in Los Angeles: Connect with FSPH Alumni in an informal setting at a variety of events throughout the year
  • Regional events: Outside the LA area, we need alumni to assist as hosts for regional alumni networking events. Help us build our alumni community by organizing or even underwriting an event

There are a plethora of ways to volunteer with FSPH. We host regular alumni student community volunteer days and are always looking for volunteer mentors, alumni to attend FSPH career events and panels, and site visits hosts.

Mentor a Student

Volunteer to mentor a current student. The program pairs students with an alum for the academic year. For more information, visit this page.

Support current students, research, and service by donating to the school.

Stay up to date. Sign up to recieve our alumni email. We appreciate all the time, effort, and support of our alumni—and so do our students. To participate, volunteer or learn more, please email the FSPH Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at
