Financial assistance to graduate students is one of the highest priorities of the Dean and the Fielding School’s departmental chairs.
Ninety percent of students require aid. The average unmet need per student to cover tuition, housing, and food, is almost $33,000 per year.
Individuals may create a named, endowed fund with a minimum gift of $100,000. Such a gift establishes a permanent tribute at the Fielding School, and endorses its high standards of teaching, research and service. Endowed funds often support lectures, scholarships, faculty chairs, and centers. In an Endowed Fund, interest earned by the investment supports the donor's wishes, while the principal remains intact in perpetuity.
